For The Outdoor Enthusiast
Queens County has two federal parks (and several Nova Scotia provincial parks) within its boundaries. Kejimkujik National Park, (about a forty minute drive from Lane’s) is situated inland and boasts a lush forest with peaceful lakes. It commemorates Mi’kmaq occupancy and is home to the largest collection of petroglyphs in eastern North America. The Seaside Adjunct to Kejimkujik Park (about a twenty minute drive from Lane’s) will singularly be the most untainted vista of forest, trails, flora and fauna on the unbridled Atlantic Ocean that you could ever wish to experience. Have us pack you a picnic, grab your camera, binoculars or skis and prepare for a day beyond compare. Summer, winter, spring or fall- we have it all.
